In the first of a two-part series, Fox News examines the three most expensive car insurance quotes offered by the three largest car insurers: United Auto Insurance Company, Aetna and State Farm.
The top-ranked United Auto insurance company is the best in the nation, earning a premium of $1,965 per person per year.
But the company’s average premium per insured vehicle is just $250 per person, well below the $1.4 million average per person paid by the top-rated American Express Insurance Company.
Aetana is the second-highest-ranked insurer, with an average premium of just $1.,932 per person.
The lowest-ranked company, State Farm, is the cheapest, with a $1 million premium per person and a $500,000 deductible.
The three companies with the lowest average premiums per insured person are the largest insurers, the Aetan Insurance Company of Minnesota, Aesurance, and United Auto.
In addition to their top-ranking insurers, United Auto has a number of lower-ranked companies with similar premiums, including the Insurance Companies of New Jersey and New York, the National Insurance Institute, the United Automobile Workers Union and the American Association of Homeowners.
In the third installment of the series, we examine the third-highest average premium paid by each of the top three insurers.
The companies are: United Motor Insurance Company and Aeta Insurance Company (in addition to the two other companies listed below, United is a member of both).
This article is part of a series covering the third most expensive insurance quotes by each company.
We will be covering the next premium by each insurance company next.
